What Is This Modpack?

Antiquus Mundus Client Mods is a small collection of client-side mods made for players on the Antiquus Mundus server. It gives you a quick way to get the recommended mods installed without building a modpack from scratch.

Every mod has been picked and tested to work with the server. They add better audio, improved animations, and Simple Voice Chat so you can talk to nearby players in-game.

Both the Modrinth and CurseForge packs include a servers.dat file, so the Antiquus Mundus server will already be in your server list when you launch. Install the pack and launch the game to join. No extra setup needed.

What's Included

The modpack includes the following client-side mods:

Simple Voice Chat

Main Feature

Proximity-based voice chat. Talk to nearby players with audio that gets louder or quieter based on distance. This is the main reason this modpack exists, since setting it up manually can be confusing.

Ambient Sounds

Adds environmental audio like birds, wind, cave echoes, and other ambient sounds.

Sound Physics Remastered

Adds realistic reverb and sound occlusion. Sounds echo in caves and muffle through walls.

Presence Footsteps

Replaces default footstep sounds with context-aware audio for grass, wood, stone, sand, and more.

Falling Leaves

Makes leaves fall from trees as particle effects for a more natural look.

Not Enough Animations

Adds first-person animations for drinking, eating, and using items. Animations you normally only see in third person.

Essential Mod

Disabled by Default

Social features like friend lists and cosmetics. Enable it in the mod menu if you want to use it.

Installation Guide

Download and install the Modrinth App
Click the Modrinth download button above to get the .mrpack file
Open the Modrinth App, click "Import", and select the downloaded .mrpack file
Click "Play" to launch with the modpack installed

                                Download and install Prism Launcher
Click the Modrinth download button above to get the .mrpack file
In Prism, click "Add Instance", then "Import from file" and select the .mrpack
Select the instance and click "Play"

                            

Download and install the CurseForge App
Click the CurseForge download button above to get the .zip file
In CurseForge App, click "Create Custom Profile", then "Import" and select the .zip file
Select the profile and click "Play"

Install MultiMC or ATLauncher
Click the CurseForge download button above to get the .zip file
MultiMC: Click "Add Instance", then "Import from ZIP" and select the file
ATLauncher: Go to "Instances", click "Add Instance", then "Import from ZIP" and select the file
Launch the instance

Install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version
Click the CurseForge download button above to get the .zip file
Extract the ZIP file
Copy all .jar files from the mods/ folder into your instance's mods/ folder
Launch Minecraft with the Fabric profile

Tip: This modpack uses Fabric Loader. Make sure you select the correct Minecraft version that matches the modpack. Check the modpack page on Modrinth or CurseForge for the current version.
